WHAT  Wonderous Stories Film Festival (WSFF) is a three-day, open air, independent film festival. Our vision at WSFF is clear and simple: to screen outstanding independent films from around the world. The festival is a celebration of talented art-house writers and directors, and offers a completely unique experience to cinephiles: combining their passion for cinema with the beauty of the outdoors. The WSFF 2019 program will showcase an eclectic selection of independent films from around the world, focusing on filmmakers, art-house writers and directors. We will show feature films, documentaries and short films, and our focus categories for 2019 are Eastern European Cinema, Voyeurism, and Fashion & Film. WSFF 2019’s full film list will be released slowly throughout June & July, so please follow us on Facebook/instagram/website for all the relevant announcements. 

WHEN Thursday 08th August - Sunday 11th August 2019. The film programme will run over 3 nights (08th, 09th, 10th), leading into the morning of the 11th August.

WHERE The festival is located in Stolpe, Angermünde, on the edge of Berlin. Stolper Turm, 6278 Angermünde–Stolpe.

WHAT ELSE IS GOING ON  As well as a full film programme throughout the evenings, WSFF will offer film industry workshops and recreational outdoor activities during the three days of the festival. As mentioned before, please check our website and social media.

WHERE TO STAY All camping is included for anyone who has purchased a full 3 day pass, but you must be able to show your ticket on demand to our stewards. For those who aren’t keen on camping we can recommend a range of local accommodation, please contact us via email.

WHAT TO EAT AND DRINK We will have several food and drink stalls and aim to cover all dietary requirements. Furthermore we are licensed to sell alcoholic beverages, which will be sold at reasonable prices. However, you can also bring your own food and drink, should you wish to do so.

WHAT TO BRING All festival goers are encouraged to camp so that they can fully engage and enjoy the festival, therefore you might wish to attend with all the relevant camping equipment. Making the most of the beautiful location, please prepare for any activities you may wish to get involved in, such as yoga, swimming, running or cycling. Please also bring weather appropriate clothing, and prepare for potential cold spells or rain, to allow you to enjoy the festival to the max, even if it gets a bit chilly. As mentioned above you can bring your own food and drink although there will be numerous food and drink outlets located within the festival site.

REFUND POLICY WSFF does not offer any refunds and all purchases are final.

AGE REQUIREMENTS WSFF does not have any age requirements however, please be aware our audiences must be over the age of the film certificate, and any underage viewers will be asked to leave the particular film.

PAYMENT AT THE FESTIVAL Due to poor internet connection within the national park land, we will not be able to accept card payments on site. Please be sure to be well prepared for this. The nearest cash point is in Angermünde town.
